Mission
- The foundation is active in the areas of education, culture, health, human rights, development cooperation, climate and nature conservation, child and women's protection in Switzerland and abroad. 2. The foundation supports existing tax-exempt or tax-worthy non-profit organizations/projects worldwide and initiates tax-exempt or tax-worthy, innovative projects and activities that aim to provide better living conditions for a significant number of people. 3. The foundation can initiate its own projects, as well as provide technical or financial support to local organizations with comparable tax-exempt or tax-worthy objectives in Switzerland and abroad; this can take the form of grants, scholarships, microcredits and knowledge transfer, among other things. 4. As part of the main purpose according to points 1 to 3, the foundation can create or promote meeting forums which, as a secondary purpose, deal with the history, meaning and future prospects of global, ecologically sustainable travel and related topics such as travel as a school of life in a way that is effective for the public. 5. The foundation can also promote and support documentary films, publications and exhibitions that serve general education and awareness-raising and cover subject areas according to point 1 above. 6. The board of trustees is free to distribute the funds. There is no obligation to pursue all of the above-mentioned purposes or to support the pursued purposes equally. The principle of sustainability and impact generation must be taken into account appropriately when using the funds. 7. The foundation is of a non-profit nature and does not pursue any commercial purposes. It is politically and religiously neutral. 8. As part of its purpose, the foundation can acquire, sell and manage properties and land as well as investments in Switzerland and abroad. In particular, the Foundation may cooperate with and/or support other organizations. It may establish and operate other legal entities or merge with them if the purpose allows it.
