Mission
The foundation's purpose, as a non-profit organization, is to promote education, health, and economic independence, particularly for women and girls. To this end, the foundation covers the costs of its own projects, specifically educational, training, and bridging programs (including digital programs), measures for school, vocational, and academic education, as well as medical/health-related training and continuing education, scholarships and project contributions, measures for labor market integration (especially in the medical sector and in entrepreneurial activities), and the establishment and operation of its own facilities or participation in such activities. The foundation can contribute to women and girls gaining access to education, strengthening their health literacy, achieving economic independence, and improving their social participation; it can provide financial, material, or advisory support to projects of suitable partner organizations, as well as conduct awareness-raising, networking, and knowledge-sharing activities and raise funds for these purposes, and accept donations, grants, and bequests. Within the scope of its purpose, the foundation operates in Switzerland and abroad, with a focus on Afghanistan, where women and girls are affected by educational and employment barriers. Beneficiaries receive support without discrimination based on origin, language, or religion. The foundation's profits and capital are exclusively dedicated to the aforementioned purpose. Profit-making activities are excluded. The foundation is non-profit and politically and religiously neutral.
