Mission
We promote the non-violent protection of nature, people, and society based on justice.
We are committed to the humanistic ideals and fundamental values as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, particularly the preservation of the world for future generations, justice, and the right of all people to develop their potential.
We want to counteract the following social developments:
- the increasingly unrestrained individualism and egoism.
- the restriction of access to development opportunities and resources.
- the inability and refusal of dialogue, which is the prerequisite for common, creative solutions.
- the restriction to exclusively individual development.
- the increasing willingness to rely on violence instead of dialogue.
We have defined the following funding priorities for the years 2025 to 2028. The deadlines for applications are May 31 and November 30.
We support projects that aim for non-violent justice.
We support small-scale projects that aim to rebuild infrastructure destroyed by armed conflict.
We support projects that aim to provide legal support or assistance to victims in the process of reconciliation between former conflict parties.
Criteria
Projects run by legal entities must be recognized as non-profit organizations and tax-exempt. Contributions are only made to individuals if they are "needy" and cannot finance their charitable work themselves. The costs entered for a project may also include the time spent working at a market rate. However, at least 25 percent of these time contributions must be provided as personal contributions.
