The foundation aims to care for families across Switzerland with children and young people with disabilities and chronic illnesses who are in need of care, to relieve the burden on their families and to support them in difficult situations by: - employing qualified nursing staff for the well-being of sick children and young people in need of care (children's Spitex), so that those in need of care can stay at home in their environment, thereby relieving the burden on families and allowing family structures to be maintained accordingly. - arranging the financing of these measures with the responsible institutions, cost bearers and/or authorities. - In addition to the care offered by children's Spitex, offering relief projects for families with children and young people with disabilities and chronic illnesses, such as holiday weeks, support for inclusion in daycare centers, offers for siblings, one-on-one support in emergency situations, etc. - promoting specialist training for nursing staff in the children's Spitex area as well as for employees in other areas.
