Mission

Preservation, protection, promotion, and support of the arts, crafts, design, creativity, related professions, and culture (see the articles of incorporation for full purpose).

The Foundation's primary purpose is the preservation, protection, promotion, and support of the arts, crafts, design, creativity, related professions, and culture. To achieve its purpose, the Foundation may organize cultural, scientific, historical, promotional, commercial, and/or other activities for the benefit of artisans, master craftspeople, artists, designers, and creators. For example, the Foundation may organize any activity contributing (i) to the growth and professional development of artisans, master craftsmen, artists, designers, and creators in support of creativity and craftsmanship (arts and crafts), (ii) to their visibility, (iii) to the creation of employment opportunities in these sectors, (iv) to the transmission of their expertise, etc. Furthermore, the Foundation may organize any activity contributing to vocational training in these same fields and to the development of opportunities for interaction between master craftsmen, apprentices, and/or the public. In general, the Foundation may contribute to and/or sponsor any initiative and/or organization related to the aforementioned fields and/or undertake any activity deemed appropriate to achieve its purpose. The founders expressly reserve the right to modify the Foundation's purpose pursuant to Article 86a of the Swiss Civil Code.
