Mission

The purpose of the foundation is to promote innovation, excellence and future potential at the University of Bern in the context of its tasks and activities, namely in research, teaching and further education. This support thus also serves to strengthen Bern as a science and business location. The foundation's funding activities are based on the strategy of the university. The foundation's profits and capital are exclusively dedicated to the aforementioned charitable purpose. The foundation is politically and denominationally neutral. The foundation pursues neither commercial nor self-help purposes.
