The purpose of the foundation is to support and promote projects and research activities around the world in the following areas: protection of wild animals, plants and the Tibetan population in the Himalayas and the Tibetan plateau, protection of fauna and flora, nature conservation, in particular rewilding and reforestation, protection of indigenous people Peoples and their knowledge, women and children in connection with their education, support for self-help and poverty reduction, training of young talents in science, especially people from disadvantaged social circumstances, ecological sustainability and green economy as well as medical research on life-threatening diseases. Within the scope of its purpose, the foundation can in particular pay benefits and contributions to private and public institutions. The foundation is active in the context of its purpose at home and abroad. The foundation is not for profit or profit, and it does not pursue any self-help purposes.
