Hilfswerk der Evangelisch-reformierten Kirche Schweiz (HEKS)

With the aim of supporting people on their way out of poverty, need and hunger, the foundation is involved in the areas of development cooperation, humanitarian and disaster relief, refugee aid, diaconia and inter-church cooperation at home and abroad. The foundation informs and sensitizes the public and is involved in development and social policy. To this end, the foundation collects funds and ensures the evaluation, testing and monitoring of projects. The foundation can develop all activities that fall within the scope of the foundation's purpose or are factually related to it. The Foundation performs its tasks on behalf of and in cooperation with the EKS and the churches affiliated with it. In order to fulfill its purpose, it can cooperate with and support suitable church, private and state institutions and organizations. The foundation fulfills its purpose in Switzerland and abroad. It is exclusively non-profit and pursues neither commercial, self-help nor religious purposes.
