The cooperative's goal is to meet the long-term need for housing and work space at affordable, affordable rates through shared self-help and responsibility. It particularly promotes the local integration of the project by creating jobs in the Adler Unterstammheim community center, commercial or office space, and operating the Adler Restaurant. It strives to provide housing for all segments of the population (keyword: multi-generational living), especially for older and younger people, couples, individuals, people with disabilities, etc. It promotes coexistence in the spirit of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. The Adler Unterstammheim cooperative is politically and religiously neutral.
