The Foundation is exclusively organized for charitable and non-profit purposes. The aims of the Foundation are: to support and promote charities of all kinds providing, in particular, religious, educational, cultural and social assistance throughout the world; to support, promote carefully selected charities around the world which intervene in favor of disadvantaged people, education, the transmission of knowledge and the preservation of cultural and religious roots; to highlight projects that are part of a concept of respect for the environment carefully selected around the world. All the profits made by the development by these steps must be allocated to the support of the charities mentioned above. The Foundation may carry out any other activities likely to directly or indirectly promote the aforementioned goals. To achieve its goals, the Foundation may at any time acquire resources such as goods or services, including license rights. The Foundation may hold intellectual property rights. The profits relating thereto must be allocated exclusively to the achievement of the public utility goals of the Foundation. The Foundation is non-profit. No part of the net income of the Foundation will be attributed or distributed to a member of the Board, an employee of the Foundation or to any other natural person. The payment by the Foundation of reasonable compensation for services rendered to the Foundation as well as the payment and distribution of amounts in order to satisfy the goals pursued by the Foundation remain authorized. The Foundation may acquire real estate as part of the achievement of its purpose, with the exception of operations prohibited by the LFAIE
