Mission

The ERSTE Foundation is a creative and innovative ideas workshop, a laboratory for future topics that increases its effectiveness through strategic collaboration in networks.

As the main shareholder of Erste Group, the ERSTE Foundation secures the independent future of one of the largest financial service providers in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe. As a private Austrian savings bank foundation, the foundation is committed to the common good.

We invest part of our dividends in the region in which Erste Group operates. Our goals are to strengthen civil society, involve socially disadvantaged groups and promote contemporary culture in Europe.
