Association Pacte de l'Enquête et du Reportage

JournaFONDS is an initiative of the "Pact for Investigation and Reporting" association and aims to stimulate investigative and journalistic reporting projects on topics of public interest—particularly through financial support—and thus promote and ensure wider dissemination of quality journalism.

We want to strengthen the investigative and reporting capabilities of professional journalists, whether freelance or employed by newsrooms. JournaFONDS also aims to foster collaboration and competition among journalists and newsrooms by enabling media professionals from smaller publications to conduct in-depth investigations and reports.

By facilitating the production, dissemination, and accessibility of quality information across all linguistic and cultural regions of Switzerland, social classes, and generations, JournaFONDS helps strengthen the bond of trust between readers and professional media, without which democracy withers.

The support of young journalists is important to JournaFONDS. When allocating funds, we ensure that young talent also has a chance.
