AO Forschungsinstitut Davos

Establishment and operation of an AO research institute in Davos, which is additionally supported by grants from the AO Foundation. The main research area focuses on bone biology, biomechanics, tissue edema on various implant materials, tissue engineering and the pathophysiology of trauma. The basic research carried out by the AO Research Institute Davos also aims to support the global efforts of the AO Foundation to further develop the treatment of trauma and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. The AO Research Institute Davos works closely with the institutions of the AO Foundation.
