The company's purpose is, in particular, to hold a share of the capital and voting rights in StWZ Erdgas und Fernwärme AG, Zofingen, as well as to permanently hold a share of at least 51% of the capital and voting rights in StWZ Strom AG, Zofingen, and StWZ Wasser AG, Zofingen, as well as to acquire, manage, and sell real estate. Furthermore, the company's purpose is the operational management of the aforementioned companies, in particular the execution of all related work, such as installation work at all network levels and stages. The company may establish subsidiaries and participate in other companies at home and abroad, acquire, hold, and sell real estate, and enter into all transactions and conclude contracts that are suitable for promoting the company's purpose or that are directly or indirectly related to it. It may also provide all services in the area of pipeline-based and non-pipeline-based goods for other municipalities, communities, and public or private companies. The company may participate in financing within the group, in particular by providing liquidity to other group companies, granting loans, or providing guarantees or other security of any kind for their liabilities to third parties, even if this liquidity, loans, or security is provided free of charge.
