Mission
The foundation promotes the care and nursing of children, adolescents and young adults who suffer from a chronic critical illness. In particular, it can provide nursing and psychosocial support to children, adolescents and young adults as well as the affected families and caregivers. In addition, parents are instructed and supported after hospital stays in how to adequately care for the affected and stabilized children and adolescents at home. If necessary, the foundation can also relieve affected families and caregivers during palliative phases. For this purpose, the foundation operates a center for chronically critically ill children and adolescents. The foundation can carry out all activities that fall within the scope of the foundation's purpose or are factually related to it. In order to fulfill its purpose, it can cooperate with suitable institutions and organizations, support them, or set them up and operate them itself. The foundation fulfills its purpose throughout Switzerland, particularly in northwestern Switzerland. The foundation is a non-profit organization. It pursues neither commercial nor self-help purposes.
