The foundation aims to promote lasting world peace - an age of enlightenment (Raam Raj). As a means of fulfilling its purpose, the foundation creates, runs, manages and supports centers of the Age of Enlightenment in Switzerland and abroad, such as training centers, schools, health centers and shelters. For this purpose, the foundation can purchase land. It supports all measures and approaches to prevent conflict and ensure world peace that are based on Vedic Science as formulated by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. With this in mind, the foundation specifically promotes the establishment and maintenance of large, permanent peace groups in Switzerland and worldwide, which together use Maharishi's technologies of consciousness, such as the technique of Transcendental Meditation and her advanced techniques, in order to thereby have a powerful influence of harmony, order and peace in the world generate collective consciousness. In the same spirit, it can also promote other approaches that have been shown to help prevent conflict and build peace, such as poverty reduction, awareness-based education and training, holistic health care, sustainable agriculture, settlement and urban planning in accordance with natural law.
