The purpose of the foundation is: to promote political education and an understanding of economic, social and intellectual-social relationships among Swiss youth; The promotion of mutual understanding between the various language and cultural regions of the Swiss Confederation; Promoting insight into a healthy lifestyle; Promoting understanding between generations. Opinions must be formed pluralistically, take into account political currents and are committed to free democracy and the rule of law. The principles of this impartial and non-denominational educational work, which takes into account the various points of view of the pluralistic society, are set out in regulations.
