The ask! is a human rights organization

Since it was founded in 1987, ask! for giving a voice to the concerns of the Colombian civilian population. With information and political lobbying, ask! for those directly affected, regardless of political parties or movements. The peace and human rights work also includes regular campaigns and cultural events. In coordination with important Colombian (grassroots) organizations, global grievances and human rights violations are pointed out using political and non-violent means in order to achieve structural changes in Colombia and Switzerland. We report regularly on Colombia with the publications “Colombia News” and “Monthly Report” as well as on the website www.askonline.ch and our Facebook page.

The ask! is a politically and denominationally independent association with regional groups in Bern, Lucerne and Zurich as well as active members throughout Switzerland. The ask! through membership fees and donations, contributions from Swiss relief organizations, churches, communities, cities and foundations.
